Advice for someone feeling guilty about applying for public istance...?

I pay my taxes for you! I'm glad there are programs to help you. That is why there is public istance. You need help and I'm so glad that you aren't letting your son suffer. You are not a fool you were tricked and are human. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. Don't be ashamed-would you put a stranger down for needing help? Be as nice to yourself as you would to a stranger. Sounds like you are doing all you can. It's not like you want public istance to sit on your eating bon bons you actually need it.
