Would Micheal Jordan have the same success if he were to play (in his prime) in the NBA today?

I always wondered if MJ can pull what he did during his championship years with the Bulls if he were to play today. I mean, I watched him play during his era, but I really do not think that there is anybody during his time to challenge him in his position (shooting guard or small forward). During his time, it was actually the era of centers and PF, big men like Robinson, Olajuwon, Barkley etc. I really did not see any notable shooting guards that can score and defend like his Airness during that time, well, maybe except Pippen, who can't be included coz he's his teammate, or maybe Drexler, which I'm not really that impressed with. You can't really include Reggie Miller coz he's a pure shooter, not a defender. So if he were to play today, in his prime, he would be encountering the likes of Kobe, Lebron, Pierce, Wade, even Artest, who sometimes play SF. These guys can defend and score, like MJ. If he plays these guys, MJ would be obligated to score, and then defend them. Unlike during his time when all he usually does was to defend guys who are not scorers or not nearly half as talented as the guys we have today, so he is actually doing only half the job. So, you think MJ can hack it? I mean he can score and defend, but would he still be as effective and still get that two 3-peats he had with Chicago? Consider the opposition he would have for today. I still think MJ is the greatest, but to a certain extent. What do you think guys?
