Testing BBT?What's better method?

What is the most true temp reading?? Taken by mouth or lly?? I have heard that taking by mouth can sometimes give a lower reading because of your breathing ping through you rmouth - even if you breath through your nose. Do any of you have any info on this?? I ahve tried both right after another and my oral temp i as always about .3 degrees lower??? Thanks!
