Is Kitten Flea Shampoo a safe way of killing fleas?

I have to female kitten(12 weeks) and I use lemon scented dish washing liquid because the lemon kills the fleas. They don't like baths but I give them one every other week and they are starting to get use to it. Most any kitten shampoo will work but I have found this works best. I use dawn dish washing liquid and have for many years with no sign effects. Just make sure not to get it in there eyes (I don't even put it on there heads) and only use enough to cover your kitten with a good lather ( usually about a teaspoon full). Good luck.
