NASA says Antarctic sea ice increasing at 100,000 sq km per decade - surprised?

This is old news. The ozone hole causes more storms. We know that. The other explanations given are new to me, but both are related to changes caused by global warming. Finally, the linked artical mentions only surface area, not volume of ice. "Extent" refers only to how spread out the ice is, how much surface it covers.
