Does banning extremist religious organisations work?

This is a complete abuse of power. I just read the story. They provide no evidence of links to terror groups yet use anti terror laws to ban the group. I dont like Islam or any religion for that matter but you cant just go banning groups for no good reason other than they were exercising their democratic right in the uk to free embly
