How can i put baby to sleep through the night without a bottle?

My 11 month old (a year on the 7th of March) will not settle down for bed at night without a bottle. Once she falls asleep simple rocking won't do. She will sit up and cry or find her empty bottle and suck on that. I fear the air upsetting her stomach but it never does and she won't suck a pacy. I try to let her sleep on her own but under financial situations my bf and I are with his mom for the past 2 and a half months and she freaks when the baby cries. And forces us to feed her so she will be quiet. Also his younger siblings still have school in the morn. I don't know what to do. She hates gerber cereal and I know its about time to ween her from the bottle anyway. She doesn't even sleep through the night without waking up once or twice. What can I do?
