What should I do about my brakes squealing? Part II?

I presume that in dismantling your brakes to clean them they will have noticed if they were badly worn and told you accordingly. If so, it could just be "one of those things" which will disappear with a little more wear. If it annoys you, a smear of Copaslip grease on the back plates of the pads usually helps. It may help to put your mind at rest if you get someone else with mechanical knowledge to look at them and check for you that they aren't worn.
