Yahoo chat window using Messenger is so small, the ad at the bottom is 3/4 of the screen. Is there a fix?

The ad at the bottom of the chat window returns an error that internet explorer can't find the website and tells you to refresh. No refresh on to click! It takes up so much of the window there is no room to read what the chatters type.
