Do you know anything about the ADHD med Focalin XR?

Around 2nd grade my son started having issues in school. In 3rd grade the teachers and Dr's started talking about ADHD. He is now in 5th grade and failing every subject. He had a qualified Dr diagnose him with ADD and the med he wants to try is called Focalin XR. I have never heard of this one and was wondering if any of you have had any experience with this med-pos or neg?
