Is it wrong to ask a guy that has a girlfriend, to hang out with you?

I wouldn't watch a movie, it's kinda touchy when it comes to the girlfriend. I believe it's fine if you're intentions are just as a friend... but still have to becareful because either he or his girl might think of it as more than a friend. So try to make yourself clear.
