Do you think It's a good idea to use " ed in schools" as a pageant platform?

I want to be in a pageant this year and im really concerned about the ual awareness of preteens and teenagers. I want to be an advocate for education in school which includes abstinence first...but if they decide to have , how to be safe. I want to make sure children get the education they need about STDs, teen pregnancy, peer pressure, self esteem, and changes in their bodies. The bottom line would be to abstain but know how to be safe if they choose to have . I know some parents want to teach their own kids about but the majority of kids do even get a sex talk and they are forced to learn fro TV, internet, or peers and that can get them in trouble. Maybe i could go talk to some schools; parents would be able to opt their children out of course. What do you think? Do you think the country is too conservative for this?
