Well light comes in many different forms or wavelengths than just visible light or what you can see. Problem is, our eyes are only sensitive enough to see visible light. Spectrometers used in space can gather light from a distant object in space and use a prism to seperate the different wavelengths. They can measure these wavelengths. When a star is behind a distant planet, some of the light from the star will shine through the atmosphere of the planet and be directed straight towards earth. When we yze this light after seperating it with a prism there are dark lines ociated with a wavelength of light that is missing. It is missing because and element ociated with that wavelength of light absorbed the light from the star. It also works both ways, a star can shine through a planets atmosphere exciting the atoms of a certain element releasing photons of a specific wavelength ociated with that element and that will also tell us what is in the atmosphere. How is this BASIC dragon deck?

This deck looks very similar to mine. I guess it's OK, it's based off of Structure Deck: Dragon's Roar correct, with some added cards? Well, there's 2 more decks I reccomend: Rise of the Dragon Lords (available by ordering online), and there's another deck with Dragons, it's a YuGiOh 5Ds one I can't remember the name, it involves dragons weilding swords, I don't have it, I just saw it today, I'm thinking of getting it, those decks would greatly help you. But get rid of Spear Dragon, his effect isn't great, he's not worth keeping in the deck. If you had more than one Flute of Summoning Dragon that would be great too.

I have to female kitten(12 weeks) and I use lemon scented dish washing liquid because the lemon kills the fleas. They don't like baths but I give them one every other week and they are starting to get use to it. Most any kitten shampoo will work but I have found this works best. I use dawn dish washing liquid and have for many years with no sign effects. Just make sure not to get it in there eyes (I don't even put it on there heads) and only use enough to cover your kitten with a good lather ( usually about a teaspoon full). Good luck.

It is a little hard to answer this since you are using mostly adjectives and adverbs rather than actual nouns, but I think we get the idea. But it sounds like your dad was emotionally distant, which is not uncommon. Most men have been raised to not show emotion anyway and if their childhood was rough or bad, it can make it really hard for them to express themselves emotionally. I am sure that, compared to that, everyone else seems really emotional. But if people are wanting too much interaction, you can just tell them you "need more space" emotionally or you can just spend less time around them - maybe call them once a week even if they leave you 18 voice messages in a week. They should get the idea that you do not need their drama constantly in your life and they should chill out a little. But stay in touch - call at a regular time on a regular night and they will know they can talk to you then. If you are still living at home, you can stay at the library more to avoid being around the drama all the time. But try to be nice and when you do call or stop by, be ready to just listen to whatever is happening in their lives right then and let them say their piece, that is usually all they want and need to do. It seems that I keep hearing alot of comments about politicians that sound similar to the sound bites from the media and opposing candidates. But also to understand from a candidates background, what their real stance is on various issues. Haven't we been fooled enough? If more of us do this, we will know what to expect from whomever we elect. At least then, I could live with the results. Hi im 18 and I have a good deal of the symptoms of ADD and suffer from depression. I would like to be prescribed adderall because i have taken it in the past on one occasion without a prescription from a friend but only took 10mg of the adderall XR. I wouldn't abuse the prescription if i had it but I do know that it helped me focus and helped me stay content with myself. My main symptoms are trouble going to sleep.. I can lay down for hours with my eyes closed trying not to think and cant sleep. I also cant pay attention in cl because I cant help but listen to any words I can hear other people saying. The last main symptom that is holding me back is no matter how good things are going for me I cant find myself happy or motivated although im not a lazy person and have nothing to be down about... I mean, I watched him play during his era, but I really do not think that there is anybody during his time to challenge him in his position (shooting guard or small forward). During his time, it was actually the era of centers and PF, big men like Robinson, Olajuwon, Barkley etc. I really did not see any notable shooting guards that can score and defend like his Airness during that time, well, maybe except Pippen, who can't be included coz he's his teammate, or maybe Drexler, which I'm not really that impressed with. You can't really include Reggie Miller coz he's a pure shooter, not a defender. So if he were to play today, in his prime, he would be encountering the likes of Kobe, Lebron, Pierce, Wade, even Artest, who sometimes play SF. These guys can defend and score, like MJ. If he plays these guys, MJ would be obligated to score, and then defend them. Then the company upgrades by adding more servers etc. -- and -- presto! -- fast transmission rates again. As they sell more and more subscriptions, the speed drops until it is once again miserable. So, you've used it maybe 3 times a month for the last 5 years, that would be at least 180 times the unit has fired up and ran through the cycle, pumped water in and out and pushed it around the insides for several minutes. In all actuality you're probably lucky it still works period. I work on them all the time and many of them go bad in a much shorter time frame than that. However, the model number should be on a small plate like area, maybe a sticker applied to the edge of the washer tub frame or possibly on the frame behind the lower panel. You may have to remove a few screws to get it off. The thing someone told you to take out of the bottom and clean is a screen type of a thing, which is called a filter. There are several different configurations of these things so without a model number I can't really tell you exactly what it will look like, but it should cover most of the center portion of the bottom of the inside, and probably be all the way around the center tower arrangement. It may snap out via several small clips or may have to have some screws removed before it will come out. They are there to stop the majority of the food you DON'T sc off the dishes and keep it from getting into the pump area. If you can email a model number to me I will try to help further, if you can't find one then we're about at the end of my rope.

What exactly is a proper Army haircut?

I'm currently a SGT in the Army, do to me being in a unique unit composed of everything from O3's all the way up to an O6, one of my immediate supervisors is a SGM. Everytime he see's me he tells me I need a haircut. I've panned back and forth though AR 670-1 and my haircut meets the army grooming standards. It has a tapered appearance all the time do to the fact that I cut my own hair it doesn't interfere with any head gear I wear. My hair never touches my ears in fact it would probably take me 6 months to grow my hair long enough to do so. It's always has a neatly appearance, not to mention my side burns extend only about 1/4 of the way down my ear probably about exactly in line with the outer corner portion of my eye. It's neatly tapered around my ears and blocked of in the back at the base of my neck. I've even attempted to measure my hair at its highest point and it was a few centimeters at the most. Now he says I will never make SSG in this unit until I start getting a proper haircut, I'm currently bald now becuase I was tired of catching flack from him and didn't want it to hinder my career. Should I take Kendo or Fencing?

Depends I guess. In my opinion though, I'd say Kendo gives more full body work out than fencing. With fencing, you focus more on speed, coordination and accuracy, so power is not the focus since you rely on the point of your sword combined with footwork and wrist action to create the neccesary momentum to hit your opponent, while Kendo requires hip action and full body swings to perform a strike. With repetition, you can work up a sweat in no time. Besides, in terms of practical self defense, Kendo techniques translates better when using a baseball bat or a golf club and much preferred compared to fencing with an umbrella or a walking cane since fencing targets are pretty much limited to vital spots like eyes, throat, gut and groin, while a baseball bat or golf club will hurt no matter which part of the anatomy you hit. So I dated this girl from work, shes actually my lead. We dated for about two months. Shes 19 and im 22.We had to keep our relationship a secret at work. She says they have only kissed and he was there for her so thats why. But this guy who i work with by the way is a huge liar. He's 18 and lies about everything. I confronted him the other day and he tells me that they have kissed and he has had to fight her off for and he told her i cheated on her which i never did!. So i told her everything all the lies he said about her and how he told me all he wants to do is have with her, but she still is wanting to defend him. after all the bull he is filled with. I dont understand. She tells me there not together but she wants to hang out with him and she needs space and time to be single. Is this all bull? How can i put baby to sleep through the night without a bottle?

My 11 month old (a year on the 7th of March) will not settle down for bed at night without a bottle. Once she falls asleep simple rocking won't do. She will sit up and cry or find her empty bottle and suck on that. I fear the air upsetting her stomach but it never does and she won't suck a pacy. Local neighborhood kids have been causing some mischief. They've thrown eggs at cars and houses, broken decorative street lights, and damaged mailboxes. Through some surveillance I've been able to capture a picture of the suspectedvandals. They're preteens. The police aren't able to do much. Pet Peeves about the horse world.?

I lived on a working ranch growing up. We didn't have trainers unless you wanted to call the old wrinkled up cowboys one. You learned to ride and learned from your mistakes. I was like a sponge I soaked up as much as I could as a child. Now days I have my horses and they are just for pleasure. But I have seen some nasty things happen. I went on the annual 100 mile trail ride for years until one of these so called cowboys was running his beautiful pure black QH at night thru the camp. Now when I say camp I am talking about 200 to 300 horses tied out in a 10 acre camp ground. Well anyways this guy was just gettin it thru there and everyone was hollerin, he made it about 25 feet past our camp and slammed into a gooseneck. It thru him off and the horse went down. The horse died about 10 minutes later with his chest torn open and gasping for breath. The man was sent to the hospital. To this day I only go there for a day ride with just my family and friends. I wont go back for those until some rules are put down.

I think that there is plenty of hope for you but you need to realise that if you put yourself out there, not everyone is going to respond positively. I applaud you for being brave enough to share your story and being vulnerable to complete strangers. I think that things will improve for you once you start therapy and its good that you have already learnt to control your anger and not be controlled by past traumas. Everyone has low days and I think right now you're seeing everything through a negative filter. Don't look at things out of proportion, you have been proactive and responsible with your own health and with help you'll achieve even more success.

We had a Model U.N. meeting in history cl this year, it was alot of fun, and it gave an insight into how the U.N. runs things. I was the fake rep for Brazil and i came up with a resolution along with Mexico, Chile, and South Africa. Pakistan voted no, Russia and the US abstained, and the rest voted yes...until China casted its vote-no. One vote, and the entire resolution, which everybody liked, was destroyed. From this experience, my opinion is that the U.N. does not accomplish much because of the veto power the US, Russia, France, China, and the UK have. What are your opinions?

I go by scripture and there are no scriptures that speak about the infallibility of the pope (those I believe he is a respected leader of the Catholics) and none that teach that Mary was born without sin. She even says "I thank God my Savior", which shows that she realized she needed a savior. It is one of those doctrines that was put out by the church but can not be substantiated by scripture. Also, think about it, if Mary was born without sin, then her mother was probably also and down the line we go. It doesn't make Mary any less that she was a sinner. Only God himself (The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) are sinless. If Mary was sinless, then she would be capable of saving us which we know is not true - only Jesus can save us.

I was stretching my legs to get a full split and I started feeling pain in my right leg below the knee, all aroung. I'm 5'8'' tall and I was stretching 6 foot. I was advancing until I started to feel the pain. This question is for those who practice martial arts like karate, tae kwon do, sipalki or kung fu. So I've been reading articles on teenage girls getting drunk by inserting tampons soaked in alcohol into their or rectum. You know, all my life I've heard about food being made from 'scratch'. I am so amazed at how versatile this 'scratch' stuff is! I mean, apparently you can make anything from rhubarb pie to beef stew from 'scratch'. My boyfriend is having doubts and moved out. Should I hold on to hope or move on?

My boyfriend and I have been together for nearly 5 years. We have lived together for the last three years. We recently bought a house together, but the last week of December he moved out and said that he is unsure if our relationship is going anywhere and that he feels hopeless in all aspects of his life...including our relationship. Describing a quiet place?

this is for my English writing to describe essay. I was given a photograph of Kettle Restaurant and was asked to imagine myself there and describe what I can see and what my feelings are about that place. The photograph shows outside of the restaurant and also the car park. The place is very deserted but looks colourful because of the lamp posts.
